Why Sharing the Gospel Must Come First
Keeping evangelism at the heart of our ministry

It’s been a little while since I last wrote, but I wanted to to share something I hope you’ll find helpful. I’ve just published a new piece over on The Rural Project blog: “Priority #1: Sowing the Gospel.”
In it, I reflect on why sharing the gospel needs to remain at the heart of all we do and how easy it is to let it slip down the priority list. I talk about:
• Not assuming people have heard the gospel - and making sure we actually tell them.
• Keeping our own passion alive - because we’re not excited about it, why would anyone else be?
• Engaging beyond the church walls - finding natural ways to share the good news in everyday life.
• Leading by example – because evangelism isn’t just for “someone else” to do.
